WARSAW (Reuters) - One miner died and six were injured on Saturday after a tremor struck KGHM's copper mine Rudna, southwest Poland, around 700 metres underground, the company's spokeswoman said.

"The rescue operation has ended. Six people were injured and the seventh miner unfortunately died," Anna Osadczuk said.
