Coming through! Swiss sets world record for skiing backwards

Elias Ambühl from canton Graubünden has set a new world record for skiing backwards: 131.23km/h (81.5mph). The 24-year-old freeski professional reached the speed on a piste on the Weisshorn in the resort of Arosa.

The previous record of 128.7km/h was set by Norwegian skier Anders Backe in 2012.
