Can Switzerland become the world’s digital safe?
Switzerland is revising its digital data protection laws, in coordination with EU members. On Monday, the Senate rejected a proposal to reinforce protection of company data stored in Switzerland, which some worry could damage Switzerland’s chances of becoming a “digital safety deposit box” for international enterprises.
