Affordable innovation for the physically challenged

Over 70% of India’s 20 million disabled live in rural areas and affordable mobility solutions remain a distant dream for them. A crowdsourcing competition organised by the Swiss-run International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) aims to change that.  (Dale Bechtel and Carlo Pisani, swissinfo.ch)

The filmmaker from Italy, who was raised in Africa, calls Switzerland home now. Carlo studied film directing at the Italian National Film School, worked as a documentary editor and director/producer in Berlin and Vienna. He crafts multimedia into engaging narratives.
