Putting the brakes on gaudy houses
Brightly coloured houses are often a bone of contention between neighbours. Now an institute of architects and colour specialists in canton Aargau is giving advice on what not to do. The institute is part of the Technical School for Crafts and Architectural Design and is working on behalf of the Federal Commission for Monument Preservation. (SRF/swissinfo.ch)
